STREET ELBOWS

A street elbow, also known as a street ell or service ell, is a plumbing fitting that connects two pipes or a pipe and another fitting at an angle. It has an internal thread on one end and an external thread on the other, and is often designed to add a 90 degree right angle to a piping system. Street elbows are used in many applications, including: water supply, drainage, sewer vents, central vacuum systems, compressed air and gas lines, HVAC and sump pump drains.

Elbows allow you to reroute threaded pipes to turn corners or fit into tight spaces without needing to buy a pipe bender. They are available in different types of drainage pipe, such as cast iron, ABS, and PVC.
