General purpose drill bits. Normal jobber and Nitro jobber are the most commonly used drill bits among general drilling needs. Nitro drill bits have a Nitrate surface treatment, which creates a hard protective layer, without increasing brittleness. Nitro drill bits are considerably harder than high speed steel (HSS or HS).
